he llegado! al final llegué anoche en el aeropuerto de quito. ahi me buscaron dos chicos del proyecto este en el que voy a trabajar los proximos dos meses.
salí de alemania el dia 11. tuve escala en atlanta/EEUU. fui la primera vez en los EEUU. pero de alguna forma parece que ya conocí todo. es que de tantas peliculas y series de TV tenemos una cierta idea de como esta todo alla: las calles, la gente los medios de transporte. aun asi me alegró mucho el hecho de entrar en una de estas pelis y andar las calles en directo.
ahora estoy en ecuador y la primera impresion es muy buena: gente encantadora!
esto va a ser breve. hasta la proxima cuando tendré más cosas de contar.

da bin ich also- ecuador. letzte nacht in quito gelandet, wo ich direkt von 2 jungs angeholt wurde, die mit dem projekt zu tun haben in dem ich die naechsten 2 monate arbeiten werde. die nacht habe ich im hotel verbracht. die letzte nacht in einem hostal in atlanta USA. war das erste mal, dass ich in die usa eingereist bin. aber irgendwie hatte ich dann bald den eindruck schonmal hier gewesen zu sein. kein wunder bei den ganzen filmen und tv-serien die von da drueben kommen und einem den eindruck geben, dass man sowohl die strassen, als auch die menschen und transportmittel schon oft gesehen hat. war trotzdem eine gute erfahrung einmal in einen dieser filme eingetreten zu sein und live die strassen zu durchstreifen.
jetzt also bin ich in Ecuador und der erste eindruck ist sehr positiv. es scheinen wunderbare menschen zu sein, die ecuatorianer. beim naechsten mal werde ich dann aber sicher noch etwas mehr zu sagen haben ueber land und leute.

here I am: in quito. i arrived on time last night. and although i had my doubts there were two guys to pick me up. they are working with the reforestation project that i will be working in soon. i spent the night in a hotel. today we will be heading for the rainforest. the night before was quite different: i stayed in a hostal in atlanta/georgia US. it was funny to walk the streets of an american city. it was the very first time but for some reason it felt like i had been there before. maybe because of all the movies and tv series. i seemed to know the streets, the people and the public transports. funny though.
my first impressions of quito are very good. the folk seeems to be marvellous people, very friendly and interested.
next time i surely will know something more to tell about them and ecuador itself.
